December 21, and only four daysthis window’s about helping in so many ways. too many dogs, cats, and other pets too, have to spend Christmas only waiting for you. But there are many ways to help, do not despairif you can’t give a home you can simply just share.
So many dogs and cats are spending Christmas in rescue and sadly this time of year many more get abandoned. But some wonderful people work hard to help those less fortunate dogs and other pets find new homes. Rescue dogs are just like everyone else, you probably can’t even tell the difference. In fact, some of your best friends might be rescue dogs… because we are all rescue dogs!
And you can help! Even if you can’t adopt or foster a dog, and even if you can’t volunteer, and even if you can’t donate, you can help spread the word! it is that easy! Simply sharing an appeal on social media can mean a whole world of difference for a rescue dog… because finding a home changes their whole world.
So today, follow some of your favorite rescues on social media. We can help get you started, no matter where you are in the world! As a place to begin, you can follow our rescue page on Facebook and join the Rescue Rocks group to meet more rescue volunteers and charities, or follow our rescue pages on Twitter or Instagram, and share appeals, spread the word, and change some worlds. And you will probably make some wonderful new friendships along the way.
And so, as you help the animals, don’t forget you can’t help but notice! So get us all to notice by giving a helping hand on Facebook, TwitterInstagram, email – every little bit helps, and helps really takes only a little bit.
